Dancer of the Month March & April
Kate Eaves
Hi! I'm Kate Eaves. I am ten years old and go to Stivichall primary School. I started Allesley when I was three years old but sadly didn't like it as I was too young and so re-tried at the age of five and from then on, it became a big hobby of mine! When I was eight, I auditioned for the English Youth Ballet and I got in and I appeared in the Nutcracker at Milton Keynes .
I do Ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre and it's hard to choose, but I think my favourite is Jazz with Jo Denham. I am on grade 3 tap and have just got honours for grade 2 ballet.

This is the picture I had taken when Allesley had a photographer come in.
I have recently auditioned for YOG too and again, I got in! I have made lots and lots of friends and we are performing Fiddler On The Roof this year. We have rehearsals on Thursday evenings till 9:30 .

My Dog and I
I love going to the theatre to see musicals and love Disney films, as Lizzie Pearce will agree. I know all the words to nearly all of the songs!!
On the Allesley forum, I was voted Miss Personality of the Year award!!!!!!!! And I also was the judge for Signature for the year, which Lisa Sharrott won. I am also known for being a mad Johnny Wilkinson fan!!

This is not so long ago, when the whole family and me went out for Christmas Lunch!
Apart from dancing, I have lots of other hobbies. I play netball, tag rugby, cricket, and football for the school. I also do gym, singing lessons, play the flute, take sewing lessons where I have made lots of various things, and enjoy reading and drawing. I love animals and have a dog called Molly, and a cat called Dylan (who I am allergic to!!)
In December 2003, my tag rugby team won the rugby tournament at Coundon road, and got invited to meet Clive Woodward the England Rugby coach at Jaguar! I got his autograph and had a conversation with him (which includes me take 30 photos of him!!) We met just after England had won the World Cup. I wondered if he had Johnny Wilkinson in the car with him… But he didn't!!

This is when I swam with dolphins when we went to Florida for the second time in 2003.
My favourite holidays have been Florida where I swam with dolphins. I was an amazing experience and I am sure I will probably do it again in the future! We are planning to go back in a couple of year's time to enter the “Disney Experience” again!

This is when I was four years old!
All of my family, except my dad(!!) attended Allesley. My mum started at another school when she was seven till twelve , then in 1970 she moved to Allesley where she had many friends and had the honour of performing the main part in a brilliant dance as… the front end of a horse!! She carried on to point work and achieved Elementary grade in her ballet. Kirsty, my elder sister, started dancing at the age of three, and had to give up at age sixteen because of exams, but she, like my mum got onto grade Pre-elementary in her ballet. She also went to YOG like I do now and she took part in lots and lots of shows which we all went to see and have the video to! Lorna, my other sister did come dancing when she was four and passed her Pre-primary exam with Honours, but gave up afterwards as she was doing another activity!!
I absolutely love my dancing and singing, and hope not to give up till I am much older and when I am older I would also love to be a dancer of some sort and go around the country! I would like to thank Mrs. Pughe for all she's done with my dancing and I hope she carries on for a very very long time!!

That picture is of my mum when she was in her first exam and got to wear a tutu!!
